Based on results of a study on cross-generational attitudes in more than 300,000 workers in over 50 organizations, Douglas Klein of Sirota Survey Intelligence notes that employees age 63 and older may be an overlooked resource for employers. “They consistently have higher employee engagement levels than other employees with comparable tenure.” The research also dispels myths about the disengagement and cynicism of younger workers.
